圣托里尼岛古名希拉(Thera)，别名锡拉岛。它是爱琴海诸岛中较有名气的岛屿，位于爱琴海南部，距雅典约千米，是基克拉泽斯群岛中最南边的一座岛。圣托里尼岛由3个小岛组成，其中2个岛有人居住，中间的1个岛是沉睡的火山岛。首府是费拉市，位于岛的西岸。圣托里尼是大家心目中的蓝色童话小岛。有人说这里把世界所有的蓝色都用尽了。很多人都有这么个愿望“我想拥有一座房子，面朝大海，春暖花开”。你知道吗？圣托里尼岛上的居民就世世代代生活在你的愿望里。

费拉是希腊爱琴海岛屿圣托里尼岛的首府，一个传统的居民点。费拉是一座白色房屋的小镇，修建在半圆形的锡拉岛西部边缘米高的火山边缘。费拉的景色相当壮观，能看到18公里长火山的漂亮全景，从南端的阿克罗蒂里角到北端的尼古拉角，加上中间的火山岛尼亚卡美尼，西部的忒拉西亚岛，以及蓝色的爱琴海海水。时常可以看到大游轮停泊在尼亚卡美尼和费拉之间的小港口。
